The bread on our table

Bread is the most practical human food. It offers high-quality carbohydrates in combination with low level of fat and low level of proteins. This makes it a good food that can be both used for gaining and losing weight.

Bread contains all the essential amino acids, minerals, such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, and iron. It contains fibres, which do not dissolve during digestion and are almost completely discarded by the body.

Many people believe that bread is the main reason for fat gaining and eliminate it from their diet when trying to lose weight. This, however, is wrong – if bread is consumed moderately, it can be present in any diet. However, it is very important to chose the right type of bread to consume.
